1. About this policy

This policy explains how Vidern Solutions LLP (“Vidern”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, on vidern.com. It lists every cookie and storage item the site uses, why, and for how long. How we handle personal data in general is covered in our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage do a similar job but stay in your browser and are not sent to our server with each request. Some are needed for the site to work. Others, such as analytics cookies, are optional and we only use them as described below.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or set your preferences for two optional categories: Analytics and Marketing. Necessary cookies are always on because the site needs them.

• In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and marketing are off until you switch them on. Google Analytics may still send basic, cookieless measurements (no identifier is stored in your browser) under Google Consent Mode.
• Everywhere else, analytics and marketing are on by default. You can switch them off at any time and we then delete the Google Analytics cookies our site can reach.

You can change your mind at any time. Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again.

5. Analytics cookies (optional)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how people find us, so we can improve the site. Google processes this data on our behalf. We don’t send your name, email address or messages to Google Analytics.

6. Marketing cookies (optional)

We don’t run advertising tags on vidern.com today, so no marketing cookies are set. The Marketing switch controls Google’s advertising consent signals (ad storage, sending user data to Google for advertising, and ad personalisation). If we add Google Ads measurement in future, its cookies (such as _gcl_au, 90 days) will be listed here before they are used and will follow your Marketing choice.

7. Local and session storage

These items stay in your browser and are not sent to us. None of them identifies you.

8. Other services on our pages

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a visitor is human. It runs in a frame served from Cloudflare’s own domain and does not set cookies on vidern.com. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation and privacy policy. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts.

9. Changes to this policy

If we add or change a cookie, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. If a change needs your consent, we will ask again.
